Event Details

A Free Vision Screening program for kids ages 6 months to 6 years old. How is the screening done? A digital camera with special software is used to take a picture of the child's eye. The camera then calculates the results and determines either there are no problems of if the child should have a further evaluation by an eye care professional. Nothing touches the child and no eye drops are used. The whole test takes only a few seconds. These test are performed as a community service by volunteers from the Lake Sumter Lions Club.
