Event Details
Bystanders Save Lives. In an accident or disaster, the minutes before first responders arrive are critical. What a bystander can do to assist the victims during this critical time can increase the chance of survival.
The Sumter County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), in conjunction with the Florida Department of Health, is presenting Until Help Arrives. The goal is to teach participants basic skills to keep people with life-threatening injuries alive until professional help arrives.
Target Audience: Adults with limited or no first aid experience
