Event Details
This program is presented by Jo Ann Tufo, Historian, in a colorful power point, lively lecture and discussion format. “Summer of Love” is a presentation that celebrates the music and message of unity and peace that embodied the 1969 Woodstock festival. Despite bad weather, muddy conditions and a lack of food, water and adequate sanitation, the four-day event was harmonious. This presentation explores the historic event and it’s effect on American culture.
