Join local experts for a discussion about Zora Neale Hurston and Ernest Hemingway - two of Florida’s most celebrated authors and contemporaries who faced vastly different life experiences.

During the event, enjoy a virtual preview of the new PBS documentary, Hemingway, a film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, which premieres on WUCF TV on Monday, April 5 at 8 pm.

Speakers include:

- Anna Lillios, Professor, University of Central Florida (Moderator)
- N.Y. Nathiri, Executive Director of the Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community and General Manager of the Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities
- Gail Sinclair, Vice President of the International Ernest Hemingway Foundation and Society; former Executive Director and Scholar in Residence of the Winter Park Institute at Rollins College
