Drew Willard will present his book Gospel Pilgrimage Stories as an encouragement - not only to learn and tell sacred stories, but to creatively respond to them. He will talk about his passion for Christian Biblical storytelling, and how he eventually did his own paraphrased translations, and went on the road to do recitations at various religious and public venues - even for interfaith audiences. His book is based on those scripts, along with his artwork which also played a role for envisioning these narratives. Drew will perform one of these Gospel stories, to be followed by a time for questions & answers.
