Join us for Improving the Odds, a Virtual Brain Bus series focusing on how individuals can advocate for themselves and others during preparation for elective surgery.
In Part Two, Dr. Price will discuss the basics of anesthesia, literature on spinal versus general anesthesia outcomes, and brain areas associated with anesthesia response. Then, Alzheimer’s Community Educator Ryan Gamberino will share research in the areas
of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use
hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
