Sophie Lipomanis is a Junior Civil Engineering Student at the University of Louisville. After graduation she plans to serve as a US Naval Officer with the Civil Engineering Corps as part of the Sea Bees (Construction Battalion). The Sea Bees are often deployed for after natural disasters for humanitarian relief.

Monica Morales is a water engineer based in Los Angeles helping to solve future droughts in Southern California. She is very passionate about providing STEAM outreach opportunities to children like her, first-generation college bound students, students of color, girls, and low-income students, in order to help diversify the future generation of STEAM professionals so that we better represent the public we serve.
