Alzheimer’s disease is the nation’s largest under-recognized public health crisis. More than half of all Americans know someone living with Alzheimer’s. Nine out of 10 Americans who know someone living with Alzheimer’s are concerned that they or someone close to them will develop this fatal disease. Florida is at the epicenter with the second highest incident rate of Alzheimer’s in the country.

The Alzheimer’s Association Brain Bus is here to help. This statewide mobile outreach van will visit The Villages Library Belvedere to provide information about the benefits of early detection and diagnosis, risk reduction, and how to reduce risk and promote brain health. Brain Bus staff provide reliable and useful information and help connect people with the Alzheimer's Association resources. Services are offered at no cost to participants in both English and Spanish.
