One Women's View of Life in Tehran Today

Manijeh Badiozamani, who has recently published her book, Family Tales from Tehran, grew up in Iran and has lived in the United States her adult life.Manijeh holds a masters in English and a Ph.D. in the field of education with an emphasis on the psychology of motivation.She has traveled back to the old country periodically to visit her aging mother, and has witnessed changes there first hand.

While with her mother, she lived the day to day life of ordinary people, chronicled in her book.She will share with us her joys, sorrows, frustrations, laughter and ups and downs of daily life, laced with personal anecdotes and experiences.She has come to realize that as human beings we are all the same, no matter where we live, and that we are all in it together on this planet Earth.
