Emily Ann Thompson's rich sound, energetic style and passionate playing has made her an audience favorite. Being a performer of many styles (Celtic, classical, rock, & other world music), her diverse musical background comes out in her fresh and unique solos. Her main jazz influences include Stephane Grappelli, John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Mark O’Connor, and Sarah Caswell, the latter two with whom she has studied. Emily Ann and her husband Kelly will be performing classic jazz standards and Parisian swing on violin and guitar
