A Glimmer of Hope-Local Author Presentation

For as long as I can remember, my mother has been working on a book about raising a child with special needs. I am extremely proud of her for being persistent. Spina Bifida is a very challenging condition, but I can’t express how blessed I have been to have such amazing parents, borthers, extended family and great friends. Never say I can’t and remember that no matter what you are going through, someone else is going through something worse. The biggest lesson I learned from my parents is to never give up and have a positive attitude.
