Event Details
The gunfight at the O.K. Corral is undoubtedly the most famous gunfight of the old west. It has been portrayed in dozens of movies and T.V. shows throughout the years. But the circumstances leading up to the gunfight and the details of the fight itself are rarely told accurately.
The role that Doc Holliday played in the actual gunfight is well known, but his involvement leading up the gunfight itself had never been accurately portrayed in the many films made about that gunfight. Additionally, Holliday’s true background and his relationship with the Earps is seldom portrayed accurately.
This course takes a retrospective look at the seldom told truth behind Doc Holliday’s involvement in the famous gunfight at the O. K. Coral. It also examines the true relationship between Earp brothers and the Clanton gang and how the politics of Tombstone affected that relationship. But mostly importantly, the course takes you back in time to witness the gunfight, shot by shot.
