Battlefield Angels explores some of the women from both sides of the Civil War who valiantly worked on or near the front of  many battles.  These extraordinary women were responsible for dramatically improving health care and saving the lives of many soldiers with their competent care. 

This program is presented by Jo Ann Tufo, Historian, American History Teacher and Professional Lecturer.
