Tamara Green is an educator, storyteller, workshop presenter, author and producer. She is a member of the Florida Storytelling Association.

Tamara will present a storytelling presentation focusing on the history and portrayals of African Americans such as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman and Ruby Bridges. The accounts of former slaves are taken from real stories as recorded in the Federal Writers Project. Long and hard was the road to freedom but with time, and a strong belief in God, they were able to realize many of their dreams.
